I am 200 hour RYT, Thai Bodyworker, and Musician. I have practiced yoga for over 20 years, beginning in college, as support for my training as a classical vocalist and choral musician.  I love guiding students to synthesize their breath, body, mind and voice to create meaningful expression through sound and movement.

I completed my teacher training in May of 2024. I teach slow flow class, with emphasis on activating our muscles and calming our minds. I love creating a positive, fun environment where we all feel comfortable to practice as we wish.

I started my yoga journey a little over a decade ago, and I immediately knew that it was a practice I wanted to share with others. A structural engineer by day, it's important for me to marry the analytical side of my brain with the body and breath awareness found on the mat--and continue that connection off the mat. I encourage curiosity through playful movement while focusing on functionality and sensational alignment.

Akalai Hanui

Akalai is a therapeutic yoga specialist focused on Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupressure, and myofascial release. He has over 500 hours of yoga related training and is currently taking online courses in pursuit of his 1000 hour certification.
